North Borneo Biostation Resort is uniquely positioned in one of the world's most biodiverse locations, Borneo. The resort operates as both a tourist destination and a field scientific station, providing facilities for researchers in various scientific fields. Built on 7 acres of secluded seafront land, it features a stunning view of the Sulu Sea, surrounded by lush palm trees and tropical forests.

Location

Located 10 km from Kudat and near the famous Tip of Borneo, the resort offers quick access to protected marine areas. Visitors can arrange transportation via taxi or flights from Kota Kinabalu to Kudat to reach the resort easily. The surrounding areas feature secluded beaches, intriguing rock formations, and lush tropical forests, providing a serene escape.

Rooms

The resort offers accommodation in 20 comfortable wooden chalets featuring natural wooden floors made of bengkirai wood. Each chalet boasts a high roof for an expansive feeling and includes an open air porch for guests to enjoy garden or sea views. All chalets come equipped with air conditioning, King Size Beds with snow-white cotton linen, and spacious open air bathrooms with hot showers.

Eat & Drink

An outdoor restaurant at the resort overlooks the sea and a natural pond filled with Lotus, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features a variety of local Malay specialties and a new vegan menu inspired by authentic North Borneo cuisine. Fresh seafood is highlighted, ensuring a culinary experience enhanced by breathtaking sea views.

Leisure & Business

Guests can engage in various recreational activities, including scuba diving, snorkeling, and kayaking along the secluded beaches of Borneo. The resort features good snorkeling spots suitable for beginners, and professional diving instructors are available for guided dives in nearby vibrant coral reefs. Kayaking provides an opportunity to observe marine wildlife in their natural habitat.
